Who are we? Lesmahagow Male Voice Choir is one of the longest surviving organisations in our historic village in Clydesdale, Scotland. We have been in existence, uninterrupted, since 1920 when the Choir was formed with the objective of taking young men off the streets during a time of high unemployment. An amateur group but determined to achieve a high level of singing quality, our members come from all walks of life and range in age from 17 to 70. Our programme changes every year and covers a wide range of pieces, from modern through to classical. In addition to the great pleasure of singing in harmony, members, with partners and friends, participate in a robust and active social life. Join Us Why not join in the fun? You don't need to be a trained singer, only able to hold a tune. We'll be only too delighted to provide guidance and training. Why not contact us for a discussion? Hear Us Come to our Annual Concert normally held on two evenings in the second week in March, in the Jubilee Hall, Bloomfield Road, Lesmahagow. Invite Us We would be delighted to perform at your function, either with the full choir, around 35 members or with a smaller group - double quartet or quartet.
